JCDecaux wins Delhi Airport Metro Express Line contract

By VJ Media Bureau - February 21, 2013

The 10 year contract provides an access to the same target audience as that of Terminal 3 and Terminal 1D at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

JCDecaux India has signed an exclusive 10-year contract for the operation of the Delhi Airport Metro Express advertising network. The contract includes both interior and exterior locations of the station. With the elevated corridor, piers, pillars and gantries, this line offers the most impactful outdoor locations on the road leading to the airport.
Pramod Bhandula, Managing Director - JCDecaux India said: "This new contract further strengthens our transport portfolio in India. Our endeavor is to implement our global learning's and best practices in order to provide a rewarding experience to both domestic as well as international brands along with augmenting the experience of the airport passengers. The service is truly exclusive, delivering the crème de la crème of the airport's passengers - the 'influentials' - at a point when they are truly captive and receptive to communication. It is a genuine opportunity to engage with, and therefore influence, the influentials."

This contract strengthens JCDecaux's leading position in the Delhi OOH market where it currently operates Street Furniture with approximately 1200 bus shelters and a mix of formats such as Public Convenience, Vending Kiosk, Police booths, Information Panel, Flagpoles and Pole Mounted MUPI's.
