Transit media operators in the country are seeing unprecedented growth opportunities as the country gears up to become world’s 3^rd largest civil aviation market by 2024, and as Indian Railway passenger traffic volume clocks 8.2 billion/year. Thirteen Metro rail networks are already operational, and six more are under construction. Bus & cab fleet sizes are also growing across domestic markets, connecting all parts of India. DOOH networks too coming up in a big way on the transit media environment. However, most transit media operators are of the view that the media planners and buyers have not accorded a high priority on transit media, especially in the non-metro markets.
