IOAA North India Chapter gains traction, core committee formed

The Indian Outdoor Advertising Association’s (IOAA) North India Chapter at its first meeting of the members held in New Delhi on October 28 elected members to the core committee that shall steer the Chapter’s functioning with the mutual consent of all members.

At the meeting Sunil Vasudeva, Chairman of Pioneer Publicity, has been elected as President of IOAA North India Chapter and Mukesh Gupta, MD of Graphis Ads, as Secretary. Sudhir Haryal, MD of Planet Advertising and Ritesh Vasudeva, Director of Hindustan Publicity have been elected as Vice Presidents.

The Core Committee will work toward aligning the prioritised approach of the national body and the regional chapter on all key industry matters.  The association has also decided to elect a few members as Convenors from other states    of the North who will work closely with the core committee, and bring the issues of those local markets to the fore. Shavinder Singh Sandhu, Founder Director, Lead Ads, was appointed as a Convenor from Punjab whereas more convenors will be elected soon.

IOAA has set up its North India Chapter with the express purpose of competently addressing the critical regulatory and other trade-related issues that confront OOH business in the region.

The regional chapter envisages to work closely with the various government authorities across the region and strongly advocate policies that support the industry’s objective of doing business efficiently and responsibly.  The Chapter will also address critical industry issues like credit control, S-O-P implementation in tandem with the decisions taken by IOAA.
