BrandBuddy to add 200 more cabs in its kitty

By Pray Jani - January 28, 2020

BrandBuddy, in association with TG Connect has taken Uber cabs in Mumbai for digital cab-top media

BrandBuddy is yet another company to foray into cab advertising. Launched in last September, the media owning firm operates in Mumbai where they have set up LED screens on 300 of Uber cabs in partnership with TG Connect, covering Western Expressway, Bandra to Borivali stretch and a proportion of media is present in South Mumbai. The company has served to a few brands lately such as McDonald’s and DSP Mutual Funds.

Speaking to Media4Growth, the Founder of BrandBuddy, Mahavir Solanki, said, "The initial response from the market is overwhelming. The clients are content with our service. Our foot print is not so prominent in Navi Mumbai hence we are hoping to add 200 more cabs to our inventory, which will help us reach more TG and cover a larger area."

The company plans to stand out with customised campaigns designed as per the marketing brief of clients. “We can run the campaign on specific timings and areas. A lot of alterations are possible on this media, and being fluid in nature, it can fit well in the advertising mix of almost every brand out there”, said Mahavir. Also the biggest benefit of this media is that it can easily be tracked and monitored remotely as to where the media is being displayed.

Talking about the future plans, Mahavir says, "We are hoping to make our presence in Bangalore and Delhi soon. The work is already underway and the same can be expected by the end of this year. Moreover, we hope to launch our audience measurement tool by April. While this may not function accurately on our cab top media, we are having it launched for stationary Digital media present in malls, airports and stations in order to expand the horizons of our service."
