Surendra began his career in 1986 when he joined DOT/BSNL after getting into the Indian Telecom Service. He has wide experience in planning, operations and maintainance of telecom systems. He has served in different places that include Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Madikeri, Mangalore and Asansol.

In 2003, Suresh joined Hindustan Times, Delhi as VP - Media Marketing, In March 2005, Suresh joined Zee Telefilms Limited as Executive VP, Head of Marketing for Zee Network and then was seconded to Diligent Media Corporation Limited (DNA) as CMO - Head of Sales and Marketing. He was the first to represent India at Cannes creative festival in 2012 in a global media competition and was even recognised by Times of India and Delhi Government in 2012 for the same.

And in the same year he won the gold medal in the Spikes Asia media competition in Singapore.

Abhijit Sengupta’s early media years were spent in the hothouse sales rooms of Selvel Vantage Group, where he successfully learnt the outdoor trade with one of India’s leading outdoor media contractors. A high performer whose creative urges were still somewhat unfulfilled, Abhijit was headed to the agency side with O&M. He was a crucial component in forming the early outdoor approach of Primesite and MOMS, but felt the art and science of media planning was at the time still missing from the world of OOH Advertising.

In 2002 his desire to make outdoor media more accountable by integrating science, research and technology led him and a few like-minded professionals to create a company in OAP with a unified mission. His forte has been in creating original outdoor specialist systems and processes for various mega spending clients, cultivating extensive knowledge on outdoor media planning and working on developing various tools. He had worked with Castrol, Bausch and Lomb & Rave Entertainment earlier. He has a vast understanding of Sales and Marketing, and has worked across categories for Activation and OOH. As a COO of Jagran Solutions, his major responsibilities include growing the business nationally, aligning all the 4 regional operations and managing top line as well as bottom line.
