The maximum image resolution has been increased to 7000 pixels and can go even finer. If the user is required to go deep into detail or work with large formats, image data can be displayed at an ultra-high resolution of 15,000 pixels

GMG, a leading developer and global supplier of high-end colour management software solutions, has introduced its CoZone version 2.2 that brings ultra-high resolution to large formats, allowing the user to approve content and images via the cloud. The maximum image resolution has been increased to 7000 pixels and can go even finer. If the user is required to go deep into detail or work with large formats, image data can be displayed at an ultra-high resolution of 15,000 pixels.

In addition, the zoom extends to 500%. Product manager Arnold Müller explained, ‘Now designs for large format outdoor advertising can be reviewed conveniently at a high level of detail.’

SoftProofing Agent is a locally installable tool, with which a user can easily log in via the cloud with a mouse click. At the same time, the date of the last screen calibration is automatically recorded in the background and passed on to GMG CoZone. A coloured symbol then shows up in the ‘ProofStudio’ review area to tell users whether the calibration is still valid or must be renewed. The underlying time window can be self-defined. Especially useful is a status symbol that is also always added to every note on the image file, which documents the validity of the calibration at the time of the annotation.
