Futek Digital installs large LED screen in Katra

After adorning the high-end malls of Delhi, Futek Digital has taken the digital OOH network to Katra in Jammu and Kashmir where the company has installed a 20ft x 10ft P6 MM resolution LED Screen.

The digital screen, imported from South Korea, is weather resistant and capable of weathering extreme winter conditions like snowfall. Commenting on the media installation, Ashu Gupta, MD, Futek Digital said, “We are fortunate to get this tender to work at a holy place. The location is absolutely apt for the branding purpose as it will cater to everyone visiting the holy shrine. This will be one of the biggest advertising channels as there is no other such big format available in Katra”. 

The screen is located at Katra Main Chowk which is the starting point of the pilgrimage tour to the holy temple. The screen is expected to be in the line of sight of some 1.5 crore people visiting every year from all walks of lives. The screen will be running advertisements from 6 AM to 1 PM AND 4 PM to 12 AM along with public convenience messages and announcements.

Inaugurated two weeks ago, the screen has started to get a positive response from the brands wherein certain brands have shown interest to occupy this space for an exclusive branding. However, as Ashu expressed, “We are keen on selling out spots to different brands as this is the most lucrative space for each brand from different category so we think every brand should be benefitted by getting a spot to advertise”.

To grab maximum eyeballs for longer duration, Futek Digital is in conversation with the Shrine Board to grant the rights to broadcast live the ‘aarti’ on the LED screen for public viewing.
