With the outdoor campaign in particular, the brand was looking to create maximum impact because it accompanied the announcement of a niche product like QuikrCars which is first of its kind in a series of verticals at Quikr.

QuikrCars recently executed massive OOH practice across the nation to take the philosophy of Quikr of selling and buying old goods to a new level. The 15-day campaign has already been rolled out in cities like Mumbai, NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Lucknow and Jaipur. Well-known media agencies like Havas and Laqshya were responsible for the execution while the Mumbai-based creative agency Interface was hired for the campaign. Actors like Suriya and Ranveer Singh were associated with the campaign to add the star-factor.

Pranay Chulet, Founder & CEO, Quikr says, "With QuikrCars, we have launched our very first boat from the Quikr banner. The number of transactions in our cars & bikes category had already reached enormous scale due to our strong brand. Verticalization is the next big step for us. We definitely wanted the campaign to pop. Moreover, we roped in film actors to help us communicate this change across the country since we all are always ears for what Bollywood is dictating us.”

According to Chulet, big celebrity endorsers like Suriya and Ranveer Singh has resulted in a very successful campaign. With the outdoor campaign in particular, the brand was looking to create maximum impact because it accompanied the announcement of a niche product like QuikrCars which is first of its kind in a series of verticals at Quikr.  QuikrCars is promoted through large & prominent hoardings at important locations in each city. "We have avoided cluttered locations wherever possible and additionally, we have also taken bus shelters, bus backs and metro panels as frequency builders,” Chulet concluded.
