Pizza Hut joins hands with Dabbawalas to celebrate 9k milestone

The activity was conducted to celebrate the opening of 9000th international restaurant, in Mumbai; Vibgyor Brand Services executed the experiential marketing initiative that also saw activities in Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad

Pizza Hut, a division of US-based Yum! Brands Inc, celebrated the opening of 9,000th international restaurant, which came up in in Mumbai, through an experiential marketing initiative. The fast food major collaborated with the ubiquitous Dabbawalas of Mumbai to deliver 9,000 pizzas to the residents of Mumbai. The idea was to create an unforgettable and unique launch event for the milestone event. This was accompanied with an event and a photo opportunity against the iconic Worli-Bardra sea link – a true symbol of Mumbai. In addition to this, for a pan-India celebration, pizza slices were delivered across historic places in various other parts of the country such as at Qutub Minar in Delhi, Victoria Memorial in Kolkata and Char Minar in Hyderabad.

Vibgyor Brand Services, a leading experiential marketing organization, was handed over the task of this activity. Commenting on this, Ankur Kalra, CEO, Vibgyor said, “We have been closely working with Pizza Hut for a few years now and this was an important International milestone launch for them.
